When is a good age to start learning an instrument?

This depends on the instrument and the student. Quite often students are successful on the piano, violin, and guitar as early as the age of 4. We have had students that were successful on wind instruments as young as 9 years old. There is no age that is too old to start, we welcome all adults.

Why have you chosen the in home lesson format?

We have always believed students perform better in a familiar and non-intimidating environment. This format is also much more convenient for our clients. Our teachers do all of the driving, saving our clients hours every month.

How long is the typical music lesson?

This depends on the ability level and the personality of the student. A typical beginner will usually start with a 30 minute lesson. As they progress and more and more material is used, lessons can grow to 45-60 minutes. Adult students benefit from more time as they are able to retain more.

What curriculum do you use?

The same curriculum for every student is never a good idea. We approach each of our students as individuals with their own set of strengths and weaknesses. Thus, we create specialized plans for each of our students to ensure that they grow to their maximum potential. We have a vast array of educational experience and materials, giving us the ability to meet any student's need.
